Rietas is the solitary voice howling from the shadowed heart of Lapland - the vast, frostbitten expanse of northern Finland where wilderness rules and ancient forces still stir beneath the snow. Conceived and conjured by Ari XIII, Rietas is not merely a black metal band, but a vessel for the raw energies of the Torne Valley — a haunted region where Finland and Sweden meet, and where the rivers run with secrets older than language.

Rooted in uncompromising Devil Worship and cloaked in the forgotten Witchcraft traditions of Meänmaa, Rietas channels the primal spirit of black metal in its purest form: stripped of pretense, carved from bone, and lit by the cold fire of northern mysticism. The debut album is both a ritual and a revelation — a fevered hymn to dark forces and the forested silence they inhabit.
