Death Metal (early), Neoclassical / Ambient (later) band from Norway.
In the beginning, Thou Shalt Suffer was a full band and played Death Metal. The latest album, as Ihsahn's solo project, is Neoclassical/Ambient.

Before being called Thou Shalt Suffer, it was called Dark Device, Xerasia and Embryonic.
